RTI has just completed the purchase of a central dust collection system. Features include a 60-hp primary motor driving a 48"x18" dust fan, a 20-hp transfer motor/fan assembly, an airlock driven by a 2-hp motor, and 200' of metal and flexible dust piping and fittings. Delivery is scheduled by the end of January.

Steve has Associate Degrees in Engineering Technology from Gainesville State College and Residential Construction Management from Gwinnett Technical College. Steve is currently pursuing a B.S. in Environmental Spacial Analysis.

RTI has put into production a Homag CH12 CNC Beam Saw capable of processing up 4 panels simultaneously under computer control. Sporting a 16" main blade powered by a 13-hp motor and a 8" scoring blade powered by a 2-hp motor, the CH12 can process panels up to 10.5' in dimension.

Residential Technology is pleased to announce the addition of Mr. Jason Hilley to our staff. In addition to his cabinet fabrication, finishing and installation experience, Jason has owned and operated Walnut Creek Forge over the past five years. Jason has received training on both CAD/CAM and mechanical design software, and has experience with tool design and machine maintenance.

RTI has secured a contract with Executive Affiliates at Charleston Court Apartments for a 242 unit apartment complex in Atlanta, GA. RTI is contracted to supply all doors and drawer fronts for each apartment unit in the facility. The complex is located in the Sandy Springs, north Atlanta area.

We have relocated our shop and offices to the Warren Featherbone Center at 999 Chestnut Street in Gainesville, Georgia (click here for a Google map). The Warren Featherbone Center doubles our manufacturing and office space, while providing a climate controlled environment throughout. In addition we have free access to Georgia Tech engineering staff, The University of Georgia Small Business Development Center financial and business advisors, and Lanier Technical Institute Manufacturing Development Center technical and business development staff. The Warren Featherbone Center is a certified Drug, Alcohol and Tobacco free work place.
