Ordering Custom Cabinets
- 1. Initial Design Meeting
- An on-site meeting is held to gain an understanding of the
customer's needs and to take the initial field measurements.
- 2. Preliminary Drawings and Price Estimate
- A preliminary set of engineering drawings are drafted from the notes and
dimensions taken from the on-site meeting. A set of plans are either
e-mailed or faxed to the customer along with an estimate.
- 3. Final Drawings and Quotation
- A final set of drawings and a firm quotation are generated after
receiving feedback from the customer. Stain
or other samples may be requested and delivered at this time.
- 4. Purchase Contract and Receipt of Deposit
- Upon signing a formal purchase contract and paying a deposit (typically
50% of the cost of the job), materials will be ordered and work will proceed.
- 5. Fabrication
- After materials are received, shop-drawings and cut-lists are
reviewed and fabrication begins.
- 6. Installation
- Prior to installation, a time and date are scheduled with the
customer to make sure the site is properly prepared.
- 7. Payment of Balance
- The balance is due once the cabinetry has been installed.
